Eriq rice, who received 27 passes for 672 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior at AC Flora, will join the South Carolina Gamecocks as a favorite walk-on.
Rice announced the decision on Sunday night.

“It’s great to have the big hometown school wanting you to come and play for them and all the fans here in Columbia,” he told TheBigSpur, after the South Carolina offer in December.
Benedict, Newberry, Presbyterian and Stetson offered. The Citadel offered him as a preferred companion.
South Carolina’s preferred class includes two candidates in the state: Linebacker Ronnie Porter (Columbia, SC) and safety Joseph Byrnes (Camden), in addition to quarterback Jake Helfrich of Charlotte, NC.
