South Carolina offered the external linebacker in 60th place in the 2021 class less than a week ago. TheBigSpur recorded a forecast for Gamecocks at the 247Sports Crystal Ball on the same day.
“It’s a good show,” Fields told TheBigSpur, after the offer from South Carolina. “And it’s a good show that the crowd loves the team. The fans show a lot of support. That’s the kind of feeling I’m getting from this.
“I’ve been watching a lot of videos, just trying to get acquainted with them. It makes it look like a good and loving environment. People love your team. “
As a senior, Fields had 98 tackles, 12 loss tackles and 3.5 sacks.
