Gamecock women fall into AP Top 25 after finishing 2 to 2 in the regular season | South Carolina

COLOMBIA – South Carolina women lost the SEC regular season championship to Texas A&M on February 28, ending their regular season 2-2. Ranked fifth in the past week, the USC will enter this week’s SEC tournament as the 7th team in the country.

Gamecocks will lose the SEC title and start the SEC tournament as number 2 seed

Tigers have just left the Top 25

Clemson is out of the AP men’s top 25 after returning from a break at COVID and winning two games last week. The Tigers received 47 votes (28th).

The Tigers (15-5, 9-5 ACC), a blockade to the NCAA Tournament at this point, defeated Wake Forest and Miami and have two games left before the ACC Tournament. Clemson is in Syracuse on March 3 and hosts Pitt on March 6.
