- The Tigers started out much better than the December meeting. Avoiding a slow start was huge if this team wanted a chance to win this game.
- Tennessee’s inability to hit free throws could give Mizzou a big advantage. It’s no secret that Tigers don’t give up on many easy buckets, so FTs could be Tennessee’s kryptonite tonight.
- The first 5 minutes of this game were frighteningly similar to the last meeting, only the teams reversed their roles.
- The Tigers actually made a few trios to open the game and if they continue, the attack will open up even more.
- This may be the best offensive performance the Tigers have had throughout the year. Pinson is already 19 with 4 minutes left of the first, it looks like they are clicking on all cylinders.
- The level of play for Pinson and Smith in this part was absurd. If Tilly manages to get into the action a little more, the Tigers must win this game.
