Well, the Vanderbilt Commodores are once again looking to end a losing streak that is now in six games, the kind of thing that is absolutely nothing new to the Vanderbilt basketball program in recent years. Everyone knows about the 20-game losing streak until the end of 2019, but in 2020 he saw Vanderbilt have a losing streak that reached nine and seven games, sandwiched around a random victory over LSU. (2018, somehow, never saw Vanderbilt lose more than four in a row.) Even 2015 saw Vanderbilt lose seven at one point, and 2014 had a streak of five straight losses until the end of the season.

But the last time the South Carolina Gamecocks went to Memorial Gym, Vanderbilt won an 83-74 victory to end the regular season of 2020. Interestingly, the two top scorers in that game – Scotty Pippen (21 points) and Maxwell Evans (20 points) – are still on the team.

South Carolina has played nine games in total this season and comes with a 4-5 record. They ended a streak of three games lost with an 83-59 victory over Georgia on Wednesday night. Let’s go basketball, shall we?

Have fun and hope to win, Anchor Down.
