Knockout City: Gameplay Video
Revealed during Nintendo Direct in February, Knockout City is a new team-based dodge-brawler game that takes on rival gangs in competition for control of the lawn. Knockout City will launch later on May 21 for all platforms, including PS4 and PS5.
Game breakthrough: Sifu
Revealed during State Of Play, Sifu is a new action game reminiscent of classic martial arts action movies, with a hint of Oldboy from Chan Wook-Park. During the reveal trailer, we saw the main character use his skills to take down enemies with grapples, quick attacks and fierce kicks. Sifu, developed by Sloclap – the creators of Absolver – will be released on PS4 in 2021.

The next game coming from Heart Machine, the creators of Hyper Light Drifter, is Solar Ash. Set in a strange world, you will explore the mysterious landscape using your parkour skills to overcome obstacles and defeat hostile life forms. Solar Ash is scheduled to be launched in 2021.

Game reveal: five nights at Freddy’s: security breach
The next game in the Five Nights at Freddy franchise comes to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this year. Security Breach is a first-person horror experience in which you will have to escape the animatronics that seek to kill you during the night. The gameplay revealed sequences similar to games like Amnesia and Alien Isolation, which appears to be an unnerving change of pace for the series.

Oddworld: Soulstorm: Gameplay Trailer
The last video of Oddworld’s return showed what’s to come in Abe’s newest adventure. Scheduled for April 6 for PS4 and PS5, the gameplay showed some of the familiar platforms and exploration of classic games, but now with new visuals and an expanded storyline focusing on Abe’s journey.

Deathloop: Gameplay trailer
Deathloop’s latest gameplay trailer focused on Colt’s perspective being trapped in a time loop. Coming from Arkane Studios, Death Loop shares the DNA of games like Prey and Dishonored, but in his particular case, he leans heavily towards a more vigorous and fast style. Deathloop is scheduled for release on May 21 for PS5 and PC.

The news of this live broadcast comes shortly after Sony confirmed that the PlayStation VR will have a second iteration, this time with a new controller and single cable connection design. The company also recently announced that PlayStation Gone Days Gone will arrive on the PC this spring. PlayStation said more titles could also arrive on the PC in the near future. Unfortunately, not all news from PlayStation before the event was positive. The company will largely end development of the original game in its Japan Studio.
Sony said the live broadcast would be about 30 minutes long. He also said that “the PlayStation hardware or the business-oriented update” will not appear; this live stream on the state of the game is focused on “big games that will be released in the coming months”. This means that we are not anticipating long-term surprises. With games already delayed this year, however, this could mean that the launch schedule is starting to look a little less sterile.
