Gabrielle Union admits that she goes to the bathroom to be alone with her two-year-old daughter Kaavia, her husband Dwyane Wade and three stepsons.

The 48-year-old actress, Bring It On, revealed that when she needs a moment for herself from her full house, she recycles the same indisputable excuse.

‘I can’t even speak,’ she joked in a new interview for Parents magazine. ‘I will claim a gastrointestinal problem so quickly to have a little extra time.’

Apparently, the escape of the star to the bathroom is an increasingly popular trick among parents, according to a Tropicana survey conducted by Wakefield Research between October 29 and November 4 with 1,000 residents in the United States.

The study found that 49 percent of mothers and fathers hide in the bathroom for some much needed space amid widespread coronavirus blocks.

In addition, Union also finds solace in hearing positive affirmations, Zoom therapy and guided meditation.

In addition to her small, 38-year-old husband, she is also the father of Wade’s sons Zaire, 18, Zaya, 13 and Xavier, seven, from his previous relationships with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches and basketball wives. alum Aja Metoyer.

Her mother, Jolinda Wade and her mother, Theresa Union, along with Gabrielle’s niece and sister, are also temporarily quarantined with the couple at their 8,500-square-foot home in Los Angeles.

Despite sometimes feeling overwhelmed or cornered, she noticed that she and her man felt ‘very lucky’ to ‘have a very large village’.

She also reminded other parents that asking for help “doesn’t make them” a failure.

“Needing help doesn’t make you weak or vulnerable – it just means you need help like everyone else,” she emphasized.
