FV Frangivento Sorpasso is a 850 HP Italian supercar that you can rename

When it comes to Italian supercars, the name FV Frangivento will probably not be at the top of its list, but that does not prevent the Turin carmaker from presenting its latest model, the FV Frangivento Sorpasso.

As a continuation of the 1,000 HP Asfane DieciDieci hypercar and the $ 1.6 million electric Charlotte roadster (with a built-in fish tank), the Sorpasso has its own peculiarity. It is available in two flavors, Stradale and GTXX, with buyers of the latter having the decision to change the two Xs in numbers of their choice. How about this for personalization?

In addition, buyers of Sorpasso Stradale and GTXX can sign up for two personal programs called Program Sviluppo and Ego Program for 30 days, in which they can work side by side with stylists to design their own car.

The Sorpasso Stradale differs from the others by its cleaner and more elegant appeal. It is the show car revealed in these press images, which come in the Hermes Gray painting. The Sorpasso GTXX, on the other hand, features a two-tone body and carries a more aggressive look inspired by the GT3 Group cars.

Although not revealed in the press images, the cabins of both Sorpasso supercars would be from Alcântara, as well as the leather worked by the historic studio of the Mario Levi Group, based in Turin. It will also come with an optional Avatar Driving Assistant, designed to be an intelligent co-driver with customizable human resources. Developed by Sistemevo, AI technology has the ability to converse using natural language – as a personal travel companion.

Both running on four legs and powered by a V10 engine, the Sorpasso Stradale does not use forced induction to produce 610 naturally aspirated horses. The Sorpasso GTXX, on the other hand, is equipped with a supercharged engine to generate 850 horses (634 kilowatts), allowing it to run from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 2.9 seconds and hit 214 mph ( 345 km / h).

The price was not mentioned at the launch, although FV Frangivento said enthusiasts and collectors have already booked their cars and will receive their cars in late July.
