Take care of your nuts, guys. A series of frantic and bloody squirrel attacks have been reported in Queens, New York – and now residents are begging for help to fight. At least five attacks have been reported since November, with one street appearing to be home to the country’s most furious squirrel. Micheline Frederick relived her trauma with ABC7, saying that her attack left her covered in blood. “Basically, it goes up my leg and I’m like, ‘OK, squirrel, hello, what are you doing?'” Recalls Frederick. “The next thing I know is that it is a cage fight and I am losing.” Another resident, Anika Singh Sood, said she started carrying pepper spray in preparation for a fight. The New York Department of Health said it was aware of the existence of “an aggressive squirrel” and advised an owner to hire a hunter. It was not established why the squirrel is so angry.
