Hopkins was a registered nurse in the neurocritical care unit at the University of Utah Hospital. Her co-workers told FOX 13 that she was a true “health hero”.
βI think ‘hero’ is probably an understatement. She was always willing to be the first to get into dangerous situations, especially with COVID going on last year, βsaid Brandon Sherrod, who worked alongside Hopkins at U of U Health. βShe never hesitated to go out of her way to help patients and prepare to care for COVID patients – or any patient in that regard. She was always willing to do what needed to be done. “
