PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to four games in March, including Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The Square Enix action and RPG game will be available for download on March 2 via PS Plus, along with Model, Remnant: Das Cinzas, and Farpoint.
Model is the recursive puzzle and adventure game from developer Graceful Decay and publisher Annapurna Interactive. At the Model, the player manipulates a small-scale model of the game world in which he is living. Objects moved or brought into the holder model are represented on a large scale in the real world and players must move objects to traverse a recursive environment. Model will be a brand new release available through PS Plus.
Remnant: Das Cinzas is a shooting game inspired by Dark Souls. The third-person survival action game is from Gunfire Games and includes cooperative multiplayer. Farpoint is a first-person virtual reality shooter designed for PlayStation VR. It was developed by Impulse Gear and launched in 2017.
February PlayStation Plus giveaways, Control Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie, are available for download until March 1st. Another PS Plus game, AllStars Destruction, is also available for download until April 5.
On Thursday, Square Enix announced an updated version of Final fantasy 7 remake, known as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, optimized for PlayStation 5. The update will be free for PS4 owners of the game – but only for those who purchased it. In other words, PlayStation Plus subscribers who download the PS4 game for free next month will not be eligible to obtain Intergrade as a free PS5 update. It is not clear at this point whether Square Enix will offer a paid upgrade to these customers, or how much it would cost.
Update: We clarify that the free download of PlayStation Plus from Final Fantasy 7 Remake you will not be eligible to be upgraded to the next version of the PlayStation 5 game for free.
