Fox Cities vaccine clinic COVID-19 expanding eligibility for consultations

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – Authorities say Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic (FCCVC) is expanding eligibility to create a consultation to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the city of Appleton, the clinic previously only accepted appointments for specific eligible groups, including those in phase 1A, anyone aged 65 and over, as well as school and daycare staff.

However, now anyone who meets the current qualified guidelines detailed by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), except for those with certain medical conditions or below 1C, will be able to make an appointment starting at 2pm on Sunday , 14th March.

City officials sent a press release about the update just before 2 pm Sunday afternoon.

Consultations at the vaccine clinic will take place from 9 am to 11:30 am and from 1 pm to 1 pm on Tuesday, March 16, until Thursday, March 18.

According to city officials, anyone who qualifies for Phase 1C, or those with certain medical conditions, will be eligible as of March 29.

No walk-in will be allowed.

For those who do not have access to the Internet, city officials say that an appointment can be made by calling 920-399-2550, and leaving your name and phone numbers. The team that sets up the meetings will call you back and help set up a meeting.

The clinic is located at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, located at 355 W. Lawrence Street in Appleton.
