Four Seasons Total Landscaping Owner shares the experience of starring in the Super Bowl ad – CBS Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A small Philadelphia company that gained fame during the 2020 presidential election had another dose of fame on Super Bowl Sunday. Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Holmesburg first gained national attention in November, when then presidential adviser Rudy Giuliani accidentally chose it as the setting for a high-profile press conference.

“We were just people, ordinary people who were caught in an extraordinary situation,” said owner and CEO Marie Siravo.

Siravo was preparing to hand over the nearly 30-year-old business to his son Michael. But she could never have predicted what would happen next.

Fiverr, a global company that connects businesses with freelancers, invited her to star in her first Super Bowl commercial.

“We are very proud that she is in our Super Bowl ad and is helping her business,” said Fiverr vice president of brand Duncan Bird.

The ad scoffs at the Four Seasons’ chance at fame, and although Siravo had no previous acting experience, it seems natural.

“The director was so amazing that I said my line, and he said, ‘Marie, I need this a little bit more, I need this a little bit louder, I need it with a little more attitude’. I’m from southern Philadelphia, it wasn’t very difficult for me, ”she said.

“Is this the lobby?” a woman asks in the ad. “This is not a hotel!” Siravo yells back in a funny nod to Giuliani’s confusion.

Although the place received a lot of laughter, it is exciting for Siravo, who said it will have a lasting impact on the legacy she leaves when she retires, knowing that her company is stronger than ever.

“Fiverr made sure of that,” she said. “My grandchildren will remember me, they will remember me when I am not here, and I am lucky enough to have my children to continue my dream.”

After three months of turmoil since that infamous press conference, Siravo is leaving for a well-deserved vacation.
