Fortnite’s sixth season adds animals, crafts, Lara Croft and Neymar

A new season of Fifteen days is upon us, and the latest digs even deeper into the comprehensive narrative of the Battle Royale reality. Today, Epic Games officially launched the 6th season of the second chapter of the game, which is nicknamed “Primal”. It happens right after the “Zero Crisis Finale”, which concluded the 5th season and presents a new prehistoric biome for the island.

When players start playing the season for the first time, they will be greeted with a quick cinematic – which you can watch below – after a short but intense player adventure where you help Agent Jonesy try to save reality.

This new setting includes a tall tower in the center of the island – right where the 5th season’s zero-point explosion took place – which is surrounded by a village and other new locations, replacing last season’s alien desert. Perhaps most significantly, the animals now roam the island, including everything from wolves and wild boar to seemingly more harmless creatures, like chickens and frogs. Along with this is a new creation mechanic that allows players to build improvised weapons, such as new bows, from hunted wild animals and discarded technology.

In addition, those who take the battle pass can expect the usual variety of new character skins and other cosmetic items to unlock. This time, it includes characters connected to the ongoing story, such as Agent Jones, as well as someone called “Spire Assassin” and Raz, described as “seeker of the mysteries of Spire”. Of course, it wouldn’t be Fifteen days without licensed ties. This season, they come in the form of Lara Croft’s tomb Raider, Raven’s Teen Titans, and, at some point in the future, Brazilian soccer star Neymar (as expected).

Fifteen daysThe previous season started last December, and likewise started with an impressive live event that ended its Marvel-themed storyline – which ended up being the biggest event in the game so far. However, Season 5 is likely to be best remembered for the large number of licensed tie-ins, covering everything from The Mandalorian for professional sports. Those looking to delve a little deeper into the constant Fifteen days Tradition can also check out a upcoming Batman crossover comic book.
