Fortnite update 15.40 is coming and will bring some interesting changes to the game. As with all Fortnite updates, it’s not exactly clear what the patch will do, but we do have some tips from the game’s official Twitter account. The patch is set to air on February 16.
According to the tweets below, it looks like the popular limited-time modes Air Royale and Floor is Lava will be back. The patch will also allow you to adjust the level of detail of the object in Perf alpha mode, but only on the PC. In addition, the characters will have more exotic ones in stock for you to pick up. Let’s hope that the opposing teams don’t get there first.

The tweet above also refers to a “favorite without cultivation”. Based on contextual clues, they are likely to be shotguns or an explosive weapon. Then again, the phrase “toc toc” in the first tweet led some to think that Flint-Knock Pistol could also be returning. We’ll know for sure when the patch is released on February 16th.
