Fortnite Season 5 Week 5 Challenge: Where to dig up and bury gnomes

fortnight gnome
Last week, Fortnite’s challenges were all about tomatoes. Now, in the fifth week of season 5, the challenges were for the gnomes. Players need to dig up gnomes and bury them around the map to complete the challenges. Why do they need to dig them up and bury them? Who knows? However, we have the locations for you to complete these gnome games to raise the level of your Battlepass.

Dig up Gnomes

This week’s first gnome challenge is to dig up gnomes on the map. Players must visit Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park to find glistening mounds of earth that represent buried gnomes. Then, the piles need to be hit with a pickaxe for the gnomes to leave the ground. Once you get all four, you earn 20k XP on your Battlepass.

Collect Gnomes

For this challenge, you will return to Fort Crumpet and visit Holly Hedges to collect gnomes. This is a simple interaction to collect each gnome, but you need to make sure that the area is safe. Otherwise, you will be quickly eliminated before completing the mission. If you manage to collect all the gnomes, however, you will receive an additional 20k XP for your Battlepass.

Bury gnomes

This challenge can end up being the easiest of the three, as you only need to bury two gnomes instead of digging or collecting four. This is another simple interaction task in Pleasant Park or Retail Row, but you must make sure that the area is safe before being removed while completing the task. After completing this, you earn an additional 20k XP for a total of 60k in the three challenges. Very good for running and interacting with gnomes.

To find all of these challenges and create the maps, we use fortnite.gg, which points out exactly where to go. It is a convenient tool if you want to complete challenges quickly. In any case, completing these gnome challenges is very easy, considering the total 60k Battlepass XP you get from Epic Games. Let us know if you go after the gnomes and if it was easy in the comments below.
