Fifteen days fans have speculated about who voiced the Foundation, a character who appeared on the kinematic and in-game event that started the game 6th season. The current theory is that it is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, but there are also competing ideas. None of that matters much, but it is Fifteen days players doing what they do best: speculating wildly.

Let’s look at the facts. On March 16, the day before the launch of Season 6, Johnson posted an enigmatic video on Instagram talking about the importance of March 16 “in a certain culture” and how “there is connecting fabric between this world and mine”. The video ends with him saying, “All of this is done to strengthen, evolve and increase the power and strength known as … The Foundation” before raising a significant eyebrow.

This seems very clear evidence for many Fifteen days fans. Others pointed out that The Foundation’s armor bears a resemblance to Johnson’s tattoos. Others note that “rock” and “foundation” have similar meanings. Eurogamer reports that the Foundation’s speeches are in a folder called “DJ” within the game code. On Reddit, the players pointed to Epic’s creative director, Donald Mustard, who liked Johnson’s video on Instagram as further proof of the theory.

Johnson is not the only possible voice in the race, however. Players too speculated that the Foundation is voiced by Keifer Sutherland or even Donald Mustard, presenting various evidences for and against his favorite candidate. As a player on Reddit succinctly sums it up: “This is stupid”.

This It is Stupid! Who cares who voiced the character and who will be the next celebrity to be sucked Fifteen daysmaw will it be? But Fifteen days has always been great at being a creative engine for wild theories, with players scoring red strings between each map change and Twitter teaser to speculate what will happen next. As more and more crossovers invade the game, I found that fans theorize less fun, depending more on pop culture knowledge than theories totally disconnected from any reality, except that created by people who have a lot of time to play Fifteen days. That looks like a good old Fifteen days strangeness of the player, the kind I was missing.

My current favorite Fifteen days 6th Season theory it’s about a new skin called Raz, which has tattoos similar to Kevin The Cube’s runes from previous seasons. This fits in with another theory that Season 6’s towers are in places similar to the runes Kevin left when he was scrolling through the map. It’s the kind of material that YouTube videos are made for, and I’m here for all of that. Screw the rock. Bring the cube back and let the players’ creativity flow.

(The Rock, if you’re reading this, please don’t hit me.)
