Fortnite offering refunds on new skin

Earlier this week, Epic Games released a pair of new Terminator skins for Fifteen days, and the publisher is now offering refunds to those who purchased the T-800. The Official Fifteen days the website indicated that the skin was accompanied by an integrated Cyberdyne Salute emote. This is not the case, which may have generated some complaints from players. Epic’s official Fortnite Status Twitter account said players will be able to sign up for one using the game stream. A specific date on which players can start obtaining this refund has not been announced, but will be available next week.

The Epic Games Tweet can be found embedded below.

The Cyberdyne Salute emote aims to evoke the final moments of the T-800 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, where the character takes a bath of molten steel to ensure his own destruction and protect the future. The original trailer released by Epic Games announcing the content paid homage to that moment, but this time, the T-800 is interrupted by Jonesy, who pulls him into the world of Fifteen days to ask for your help.

Fifteen days Chapter 2 of season 5 has a theme focused on the greatest hunters of the multiverse. T-800 and Sarah Connor are the last “hunters” added this season, after Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), Kratos (God of War), Master Chief (areola) and Predator. There have been several rumors about future hunters, including Tom Raider star Lara Croft. Epic Games has been adding new skins constantly since the beginning of the season last month, so fans probably won’t have to wait much longer to see which character will make the next cut!

Fifteen days is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here.
