Louis Nix, a third-round pick of the Texans in 2014 who also spent time with the Giants, Washington and the Jaguars, disappeared in Florida.
Ben Becker of ActionNewsJax.com posted the appeal of Nix’s mother, who explained that he has not heard from his son for several days.
“The last communication from someone who saw him was on Tuesday,” said Nix’s mother. “I can’t call him because his voicemail is full and the people he talks to daily haven’t heard from him. I do not like him. “
She added that she believes Nix is in danger. A few minutes before this item was posted, Becker added that Nix’s mother said there was no new information about her whereabouts.
Nix, a three-year-old at Notre Dame, was shot in December while putting air on his car tires. The bullet, Nix explained at the time, bounced off his sternum and entered his lung. He had surgery to remove it. His mother told Becker that since then, Nix has not liked to go out. She does not believe, however, that the latest development is related to the shooting.
