To say that there was not much fanfare about the Bears’ decision to hire Dalton would be the understatement of the off-season.
If we’re being honest, the rumors of Chicago’s attempt to acquire Russell Wilson in an aggressive trade generated so much excitement and created so much anticipation in the fanbase that it didn’t really matter who they chose in the post after Wilson’s failed attempts.
Dalton represents the team’s decision to settle for a second (or even third) choice, instead of doing whatever it takes to achieve a future Hall of Fame like Wilson. This does not (and never will) please fans.
Apparently, it doesn’t fit in with NFL defenders Chris Canty and Rob Ninkovich. Check out his fiery interpretations of ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ on Thursday morning:
