Many thought Kendrick would declare himself for the 2021 draft, but instead, he announced that he would play in his final year. Last month, he was fired from the Clemson program for unknown reasons.

“There really isn’t much to say about it, except that he is no longer with us, but also to say that I love DK,” said Clemson coach Dabo Swinney at the time, according to the New York Post. “Dude, he is a young man that I have always loved as a football player. He has a very good heart. He was never a disrespectful young man or anything. Only sometimes it is necessary to change.”
