The Ford Mustang Mach-E is on a mission to prove its worth by entering science. Convincing traditional Ford and Mustang customers to take the Mach-E EV seriously will take some time, and Ford believes they can show the way with science. This next Mach-E advertising campaign will soon take your time, wherever you consume media, so you can also understand what the ads are about.
The Mach-E V. Everything advertising campaign is a unique way to showcase Mach-E’s skills in a fun and entertaining visual demonstration. First, the Mach-E takes on a rocket to dispel range anxiety, featuring the Mach-E’s 300-mile range with the extended range option. The Mach-E then faces the power of gravity and must accelerate quickly under a chandelier that collides with the earth. Ford uses this opportunity to show the 0 to 60 mph time of the Mach-E at 4.8 seconds and 3.5 seconds for the GT Performance Version.
After these performance-focused ads, Ford turns to some of the nuances of Mach-E. First, it challenges the lightning power generated by a Tesla Coil and Ford’s fast charging system to see which one can generate a better charge. The Tesla Coil is a fantastic way to show electricity flowing in an EV, since charging is usually a tedious task. The last two announcements show updates in the air that will keep the Mach-E software up-to-date compared to the NASCAR team. The final announcement shows identical twins against Mach-E to see if it can remember each other’s unique settings.
All of these ads show the unique value of Mach-E and go a long way toward engaging non-EV customers. These exciting uses of the scientific method are a great use of screen time and will certainly convert those who doubt Mach-E to be curious.
