Ford causes Raptor 2021 grill, announces debut date

Ford’s wickedly fast, deserted, bouncing Ford kid is getting a little update for the 2021 model year, and that update will be available soon. How long? Try February 3 at 11am ET (8am PT), according to a teaser tweeted on Wednesday by Ford representatives.

What do we know about the Ford Raptor 2021? Not much, to be honest. We saw your grid and part of your body in white, but this is not so useful, as both seemed previous Raptor-ized versions of the F-150. We also heard a note about the prototype versions engine, and it looked great.

So, yes, we don’t know much, but we are expecting some things. We are assuming that Ford will bring back the V8 for the new Raptor, at least in a limited capacity, to keep up with the Hellcat-powered freaks Ram TRX. We also expect Ford to continue to refine the Raptor’s suspension, as it is the party piece of the truck.
