For $ 10,500, is this Toyota Supra Turbo 1991 a super deal?

Good price or no dataIs this used car a good deal? You decide!

With the modern Supra more BMW than Toyota, fans of the model that follow the tradition can choose to look earlierr editions like today Good price or no data Mk III. Let’s see if the price of this can also be more Toyota than Bimmer.

From yesterday 1995 Honda Gold Wing GL1500 SE it made us all decide its value as a capable and comfortable cruiser over its weight and inelegance throughout the city. This season of cicadas has obviously not helped the Honda cause, and many of you have postulated that it may it just makes more sense to buy a car.

Well, some people like the freedom that a motorcycle offers, and for $ 4,650 that Honda seemed to be reasonably affordable. At least it was for the small majority of you who awarded the Golden Wing a 54 percent win over Nice Price.

If you were to choose another vehicle from the 90s for long distance fun, which would it be? It would have to be powerful enough to make access to the highway a breeze and comfortable enough for extended periods once you get there. It must also have a reputation for solid reliability. As we all know, nothing spoils a trip faster than being stuck on the side of a highway in the middle of the city center.

It is 1991 Toyota Supra Turbo may well fit all of these criteria. Not only that, but it is said that he has had a series of mechanical and practical updates that should help to increase his desirability quotient.

The Targa-topped coupe comes in Super Red over a black and red interior. Based on some excessive spray on the peeling window finish, the red paint appears to be a new spray. It looks good in some places, but in general it looks like you could use sandpaper of a good color.

The interior has also undergone some age-related updates, with upholstered benches displaying the Supra script at mid-back. Spare wheels support the car and, to be honest, they probably won’t please everyone. A set of factory rollers shouldn’t be too expensive, however.

There are 145,000 miles in the car, with the engine getting a new upper end at some point along the way. Other updates include new brake rotors and wheel bearings along with replacing the caulking around the roof panel opening. The title is clear, and the car carries its current California A-OK emissions.

The engine with the new cylinder head is, of course, Toyota’s 3L-7MGTE in-line. With its single turbo added to the mix, the 2,954 cc engine carried a factory rating of 232 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 254 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. Here, everything is managed by Toyota’s four-speed A340E automatic. Thus equipped, the seller claims that the car “runs very well” and is “very fast”. The engine compartment looks organized and extremely colorful with all the its blue hoses and red vacuum lines.

On the negative side, there is also some wear and tear evident in the cab, where the graying of the black plastic finish harms the steering wheel and the console compartment cover. Peeling paint from the black window frame can be resolved by removing the rest of the paint and enjoying the shiny work or repainting it with a rattle can, as they are usually small areas that need attention.

Despite these problems, there is a lot to like this Supra. Tyours is a pure, uncut Toyota; nthe cross-brand dilution here. What can this be worth? The seller is asking for $ 10,500 for the car, and if following the old Supra prices is your problem, you will know that when the most desirable editions cross the blocks, they can come out for absurd amounts.

By virtue of its automatic r and severalough points, this Supra is unprone to command those big bucks. Could he still claim his not-too-expensive asking price? What do you think, this Supra is worth that $ 10,500 figure how is it? Or does this make for a not so Supra deal?
