The Flyers are dealing with more obstacles related to COVID and another postponed game.
The team’s clash on Tuesday night with Capitals in Washington, DC, has been delayed because of COVID protocols.
According to the league statement on Tuesday afternoon, another Flyers player was added to the NHL’s COVID protocol list. Travis Sanheim, who lost the Flyers’ 7-4 victory on Sunday over the Capitals, is currently out because of the COVID protocol. As for which Flyers player was the second recent addition, it will be released around 5 pm Eastern Time, when the league will release Tuesday’s list of COVID protocols.
The game composition date must be determined

To play the Sunday game at noon ET, the Flyers were summoned at 6:15 am ET to receive the POC tests, to follow their regular coronavirus testing protocol.
“After all tests were negative, medical groups in the league, NHLPA and clubs determined that it was appropriate to play the game,” the NHL said in a statement on Sunday after the game.
The Flyers’ home games on Thursday and Saturday against Devils were postponed on Monday because of COVID protocols. New Jersey had 19 players on the COVID protocol list on Monday night. The makeup dates for these games must be determined
The Flyers’ next scheduled game is on Sunday when the club visits Rangers (6 pm ET / NBCSP).
With several teams dealing with delays because of the coronavirus pandemic, the NHL last Saturday announced several rescheduled games. Four of the Flyers’ games were affected.
This week, the Flyers had three more games impacted by postponements.
