11:01 PT – Here’s a look at the aspiring grannies – who have been identified as Olga Monroy-Ramirez and Martha Monroy – being scolded by the authorities for his scheme … which seems to be a little sloppy.
The women seem very relieved to be leaving with just one warning, but they were told that if they tried again … they would have much bigger problems.
Some Florida women tried to use a weird “Bosom Buddies” ploy – except that they dressed like old women – to get vaccinated … but it didn’t work, at least not this time.
According with the doctor. Raul Pino – the health administrator of Orange County, Florida – the two women attended a coronavirus vaccination site this week “dressed as grandmothers” in an attempt to get an injection.
Pino says his clothes included grandma’s glasses, but the women were just 34 and 44 … and you need to be over 65 to be eligible for the state’s COVID vaccine.
But the problem is this – Dr. Pino says that the women presented valid cards from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicating that they had received their first doses of vaccine, adding … “I don’t know how they escaped the first time.”
The health administrator says there was another recent case of a man who tried to pretend to be his father by the same name in order to get an injection, and warned that people were “pretending” to skip the line.
The 2 grandma impersonators did not receive the vaccine, but neither were they charged with any crime … although they may receive warnings of invasion.
