The driver got out to ask for guidance, leaving the car unlocked, the keys in the ignition and the engine running. The driver worked for CDR Maguire, a contractor that provided vaccination scheduling and Covid-19 testing, according to a police incident report obtained by CNN affiliate WESH-TV.

Authorities did not disclose how many doses of the vaccine were in the car. It is not clear whether the suspect knew there were vaccines in the car.

The vaccine was planned for distribution at the Plant City vaccination center at the festival site, said CNN affiliate WKMG. The stolen vehicle is described as a gray Hyundai Accent 2018 with the Florida label NPJJ58.
The police released a surveillance video of a man he would like to interrogate in connection with the theft.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the theft to contact the Plant City Police Department.
