Florida amber alert issued for teen missing since 2019

“We are issuing our AMBER Alert now, because a warrant has been issued for a qualified crime in Tennessee, and in the hope that – if the evidence puts her and John in another state – that state will be able to issue an AMBER Alert sooner,” Said the TBI on Twitter.

“We have recent information revealed that she (Daphne Westbrook) is being drugged and fueled with alcohol,” said Neal Pinkston, the Hamilton County district attorney. “She also expressed very recent suicidal ideas and has a history of self-harm.”

The latest information from the survey, the TBI said, probably put them in Florida a week ago. The Hamilton County District Attorney said a sighting was reported in Fort Walton Beach on March 6. A witness also described a Beetle.

“The details of his vehicle were never disclosed and they gave us details of his vehicle,” said Pinkston.

Pinkston also believes that they may have traveled to the Highlands County area, saying that John Westbrook has a sister in the area. He said Westbrook is difficult to track and is an IT and security expert.

“He hid his identity and hers through voice over IP phone numbers, e-mail addresses and things of that nature, and he keeps it hidden. So when you ask the public if they saw it, probably because of what we’re dealing with the pandemic, they probably didn’t see it, ”said Pinkston.

Authorities believe that John Westbrook may also have traveled to the western United States with Daphne Westbrook. He knows contacts in Colorado, New Mexico, California and Washington.

“They could, however, be anywhere,” wrote the TBI. “And in recent weeks, the evidence discovered during the John Westbrook investigation has led authorities to become increasingly concerned about Daphne’s well-being.”
