Five bold predictions for the Miami Dolphins at Week 17

The Miami Dolphins did it. They managed to play a full schedule of 16 games and each football game this season counts not only in the record books, but for the overall scheme of things – a chance in the postseason in an attempt to make some noise. The Miami Dolphins are many things: they are young, they are hungry, they are rebuilding and, most important of all, they are relevant. This is no small feat for a team that 18 months ago was considered one of the worst escalations in recent memory.

No matter what happens in Buffalo today, the Miami Dolphins should be proud of their 2020 campaign. And Dolphins fans everywhere should be excited about the future. But with all that said, there is a football game to be won today.

The Dolphins are in the stormy west of New York for a showdown with the Buffalo Bills to end a full season of relevance. What madness could we see? Here are our five bold predictions for dolphins in week 17:

Dolphins run for more than 100 yards as a team for the third game in a row

The last time the Miami Dolphins played three consecutive football games and managed to strike more than 100 yards each, was a period of 4 games in 2018 (Weeks 5-8). To say that consistency in the racing game has been problematic for the Dolphins would be an understatement, but the momentum is never less working for Miami here. We recorded last week when we boldly predicted that Miami would register 150+ yards against the Raiders – we were wrong, but not much … the Dolphins ran to 130 in their third best running performance of the season as a team.

This is also the fourth time in five games and the fifth in seven to pass the century mark – let’s bet on it again.
