Fisher says “the sky’s the limit” for Bryce Foster, A&M signatory

Texas A&M Head Coach Jimbo Fisher he had two press conferences on the day of signing for his 2021 recruiting class, one for the early signing period in December and one today for the last, more traditional first Wednesday in February. However, Fisher was not able to talk about his full class today, as he is waiting for other potential additions to the group, just as he was unable to discuss all of the December signatories at that specific time due to the fact that Os Aggies were also playing a waiting game with some potential targets.

This meant that Fisher was unable to talk about one of the best rated signatories in the 2021 class for offensive striker Katy Taylor Bryce Foster. The four-star candidate was ranked as the 65th best player in the country and one of the top five national guards in this year’s indoor attackers campaign and may well provide instant help due to his ridiculous 1.8m tall and 330 frame pounds. Today, with Foster in the fold, he managed to give him the same attention he gave the group as a whole almost two months ago.

“Just a remarkable young man,” said Fisher. “I think the sky is the limit for him. He is very talented, very big.”

Foster’s batter tends to get everyone’s attention, but Fisher also praised his athletics, as evidenced by the fact that he competes in two sports in Aggieland (Fisher noted that Foster will launch the pitch and the puck for the Aggies athletics program as well how to play football).

“Everyone thinks how big and strong he is, but you don’t realize his athleticism and the flexibility of his lower body, the strength he has,” said Fisher. “It creates strength, not just the upper body. That’s why he’s a great pitcher and a great shot putter. He can create strength from low to high which is the way football is played.”

Finally, Foster is not only a big, athletic body and he also didn’t just rely on his natural ability to take him to one of the most respected candidates in the country and someone who could see playing time as a real freshman. Fisher noted that Foster also has the work ethic to keep up with his physical prowess, which should serve him well not only early in his career, but also in the future.

“He likes to work,” said Fisher. “He likes to play like I say. A lot of guys like to play ball, but they like to lift weights and run and like to do all those things. Bryce is one of those guys who really does and I think he has a tremendous future.”
