Will this help with the withdrawal of ‘WandaVision’?
Marvel Studios is about to launch its second live action TV series next week, and early reactions to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are on the line. This six-episode series was originally intended to be the first Marvel Studios show to air on Disney +, but the COVID-19 delays caused a small change, and they started with the deliciously trippy WandaVision instead of.
Like WandaVision, this series takes place in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, but focuses on the characters of Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian stan), as they are forced to come together in an action comedy story. The series will feature the return of Daniel Brühlof Baron Zemo and Emily VanCampSharon Carter, both presented in Captain America Civil War, and also Wyatt Russell like John F. Walker.
Malcolm Spellman acts as showrunner and veteran TV director Kari Skogland he directs all six episodes, and the first reactions are quite positive – albeit a little apprehensive. These reactions are only for the first episode, so while there are praise to be found, most seem to agree that the first installment is just the beginning of a longer story and is therefore difficult to judge for itself.
I watched the first episode of FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER. So far so good? It’s hard to say after an episode, but I’m a big fan of Falcon, so I’m happy that it exists. There is also a character that appears that is a definite moment, “Ohhhh, so this is what this series is about,” moment.

The first episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier looks like a Marvel movie in style, much more than Wandavision (not a blow). The opening action screen looks like a huge MCU action sequence (not a fight on TV), the story seems to have significant MCU consequences.

In fact, it seems The Falcon and the Winter Soldier it looks a lot more like an MCU film extended to a TV series than WandaVision did, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The first episode of THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER is exactly what you think it will be, but that’s not a bad thing. If you like this world and you like these characters, you will like it. That’s exactly what was announced: more Marvel, but now in the form of a television show.

The six-hour duration also means that yes, we are having a lot more character development for these two fan favorites.
Oh, hey, I think I can say that I saw the first episode of #FalconAndWinterSoldier? Probably more character development for these 2 characters in those 45 minutes than in the previous 10 films. Large scale with some pleasant moments “what it REALLY is like to be a superhero”. I’m in.

And while there is a lot of focus on the action sequences, the series apparently takes time to delve into the trauma and baggage of its central characters.
The first episode of #TheFalconAndWinterSoldier it is loaded with the action you would expect to see in an MCU movie. But for me, the best things were the silent scenes that showed Bucky dealing with his past and Falcon trying to discover his post-blip life. Big thumbs up. pic.twitter.com/LZeM45Eovf

I watched the first episode of #TheFalconAndWinterSoldier and it’s solid. Definitely darker and more dramatic at the start than I expected (which is a good thing), but it also features the best Falcon action we’ve ever seen. Good mix of fights and history. I’m sold and hungry for more pic.twitter.com/5gZ9acB0Md

In contrast to WandaVision, it seems that this show really returns to the roots of the MCU.
