FIRST ALERT: A very humid morning is expected!

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A low pressure area will move off the coast of Florida this morning, allowing drier weather to move to Lowcountry this afternoon. The rain will be heavy at times this morning, with total rains of 1-3 ″ likely. The rains will come to an end before lunchtime, with clouds giving way to sunny peaks this afternoon. Today’s highs will be around 50 degrees above 60 degrees. We are going to cool quickly tonight with a clear sky. The minimums during the night will be in the 30s in the interior and in the mid 40s towards the beaches. The sun is forecast for Thursday and Friday, before a storm system slides south this weekend bringing some clouds and a small chance of rain on Saturday. Morning temperatures can be cold enough on Sunday to withstand the development of frost in the interior areas. We’ll keep you updated!
