Night in the Woods publisher Finji announced its next game, Chicory: a colorful tale, coming to Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC in 2021. The game, led by Wandersong the developer Greg Lobanov, focuses on the act of painting – bringing colors to a world in black and white.
Chicory: a colorful tale it looks like a digital coloring book, where the player has the freedom to create and decorate as a way to bring color back to the world. The story unfolds from there, as you use this painting mechanic to manipulate and move around the environment. The game will be released in local co-op mode, so that painters can play together worldwide.
Oh yes, and this is important: you play like a dog with a magic brush.

heavenly composer Lena Raine worked on music, alongside sound designers Em Halberstadt and Preston Wright. Sony said industry newcomers Alexis Dean-Jones and Madeline Berger are responsible for the art.
Chicory: a colorful tale will be released in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian at launch.
