You can ask Alexa to find the nearest location for a Covid-19 test.

Amazon recently added a new feature to the Alexa voice assistant that allows you to find the nearest location to do a Covid-19 test.
Works on phones and through the Amazon Echo smart speaker. I think it is better on a phone or an Echo with a screen, as it shows a list of nearby locations and the distance of each one. Here’s what you do.
- Open the Alexa app on your phone.
- Touch the “Touch to talk to Alexa” button at the top.
- Say, “Where can I take the Covid-19 test?”
Alexa will return a list of nearby locations using data extracted from GISCorps and other sources, such as Yelp. In my case, it showed eight places within 10 miles of me. If you touch a location, you’ll see a phone number you can call to confirm if appointments are available, if necessary.
If you’re using an Echo that doesn’t show each location, just say “Alexa, call the first one” to call the recommended test location.
