Final result: Cleveland Cavaliers remains undefeated with 118-94 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers

Another night, another Cleveland Cavaliers win.

With a 118-94 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night in Cleveland, the Cavs improved to 3-0 this season, becoming one of only six teams that have yet to be defeated.

Both teams entered Sunday’s clash with injuries to the starting lineup, with Isaac Okoro out of Cleveland and Joel Embiid out of Philadelphia. Cleveland went with Larry Nance Jr. in place of Okoro, leaning towards his size in the five starters. The Cavs finally got out of the race, beating the 76ers by five in the first quarter and nine in the second quarter.

Cleveland again hammered the paint on the way to victory, beating Philadelphia 68-38 in the paint. Andre Drummond led the way with 24 points and 11 to 18 field shots. Cavs also had a 19-8 lead on second chance points, with Drummond having 6 offensive rebounds.

Collin Sexton added 22 points for the Cavs, while Darius Garland added 14 points and 7 assists. Tobias Harris led the 76ers with 16 points, while Ben Simmons added 15.

The only difficult moment for Cavs was Kevin Love playing just 9 minutes and leaving the game with an aggravated calf injury. According to Cavs coach JB Bickerstaff, Love had an ultrasound on the injury on Sunday and will have an MRI tomorrow. The injury, which Love contracted in the preseason, kept him out of the season opener before his debut on Saturday against the Pistons.

Next: The Cavs will have a day off before playing against the New York Knicks on Tuesday in Cleveland. The complaint is at 19h
