Square Enix has released a new Final Fantasy XIV video dedicated to the latest expansion, Shadowbringers.
Now that the Shadowbringers story is over (and it’s one of the best the entire Final Fantasy series has to offer), the video recaps it from beginning to end, showing its most poignant moments.
Combined with a new piano arrangement of the main theme Tomorrow and Tomorrow composed by Masayoshi Soken and played by Amanda Achen, the video can be really moving if you invest in the story and the characters.
It is practically the perfect opportunity to sit with a cup of tea at Christmas and look back over the past year and a half. Only your tea may end up a little watery at the end.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC and Square Enix recently announced that it has already surpassed 20 million players.
