Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade video shows more Yuffie and Midgard on PS5

Square Enix launched an extended trailer of almost six minutes with a focus on improvements for Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade and its PS5 version. The video covers the numerous graphic improvements of the game, as well as quality of life features. In the end, players can see a little more gameplay from the perspective of Yuffie – the star of the new Intergrade episode.

Final fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade you’ll see a complete visual improvement over last year’s game, tailored for the PlayStation 5. The first half of the new trailer focuses on improvements like fog effects, lightning and textures.

In addition to the graphics improvements, players can switch between graphics or performance mode in the settings. The graphics setup will offer 4K resolutions, while the performance setup prioritizes 60 frames per second over graphics fidelity.

Players can also experience the game on the new Normal (Classic) difficulty, which involves more frequent breaks for combat commands. The new difficulty will be an improvement over the Classic mode of the release version, which was only available on Easy difficulty.

The video also features improved load times and a photo mode, allowing players to explore the world and quickly take beautiful pictures of bosses or Midgard.

In the end, players get a little more gameplay from Yuffie, where the ninja and her companion, Sonon, fight a giant boss. Players took a quick look at the fight in Yuffie’s original ad trailer.

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade in February, during Sony’s latest State of Play. Intergrade is a new episode in which players can venture into Midgard as Yuffie, a playable member of the group in the original Final Fantasy 7 which normally doesn’t show up until the heroes leave Midgard. THE Intergrade update will be released along with the PS5 version of the game, which is a free update for players who have purchased Final Fantasy 7: Remake.

Notably, the fans who take Final Fantasy 7: Remake PlayStation Plus in March will not be eligible for the free upgrade.

Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade and the Redoversion of the PS5 on June 10.
