She added, “I am counting the minutes until we can all jump into this brave world together, filled with equal parts of nostalgia and novelty. Head first, Fearless.”
Urban may be one of the biggest Swifties out there, calling the title track “Lover” from his 2019 album “so exquisitely written” and “so wonderfully crafted”. Later he said Advertising panel at the 2020 Grammy Awards, which he considers Swift to be “one of the greatest composers of the period”.
Swift’s next album includes re-recordings of the original Fearless songs, along with six never-before-released “From the Vault” songs, including “Mr. Perfectly Fine”, “Don’t You” and “Bye Bye Baby”. In late March, she released “You All Over Me (From the Vault)” with Maren Morris.
Fearless (Taylor version) is scheduled to launch on April 9th.
On Friday, the singer challenged Swifties to decode the new song titles with a music video full of Easter eggs. “The safe door is about to be as unbalanced as you think I am after watching this video,” she tweeted. “Level: Specialist. Good decoding!”
Swift announced his intention to re-record his first six albums – released between 2006 and 2017 by the Big Machine Label Group – in 2019, after the acquisition of his master recordings by Scooter Braun. Swift tried to buy his masters back years before the sale and started rewriting his catalog last November.
“It will be fun, because it will feel like regaining freedom and taking back what is mine,” said Swift Advertising panel in 2019 to rewrite its catalog. “When I created [these songs], I didn’t know what they would be when they grew up. To come back and know that it meant something to people is, in fact, a very beautiful way to celebrate what the fans have done for my music ”.
Fearless it was Swift’s first album to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart, spending 11 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1. The album also earned Swift his first Grammy, including the album of the year; later she won the same award with 2014’s 1989, and took home his third trophy album of the year in March with Folklore.
