This is… in. Well, at least in way. Almost five months after the AMC aired its midseason finale, Fear the walking dead will return with the second half of season 6 Sunday, April 11 (at 9 / 8c), the cable network announced Wednesday.

Not only that, but as our protagonists in battle prepare to face the nefarious Virginia and her Rangers, three new players will join the fray, a trio played by John Glover (at the end of The good wife), Nick Stahl (Carnivale) and Keith Carradine (Mrs. Secretary) In addition, one of the remaining nine episodes – lucky number 13 – will be directed by Aisha Tyler, Criminal minds student who has directed episodes from her previous series and Roswell, New Mexico.
According to the official program logline, “As Morgan’s offer to free the remaining members of the group becomes more daring, Virginia becomes increasingly desperate to find her sister and protect the settlements from forces working inside and outside its walls. “
In other words, many of them are on a collision course. “The second half of season 6 reveals the impact of what living under Virginia’s control has done to each person in this group, who already saw themselves as a family. New alliances will be formed, relationships will be destroyed and loyalties changed forever. When everyone is forced to take sides, ”continues AMC,“ they discover the meaning of ‘The end is the beginning’ ”- the unnerving message that, you must remember, was spray-painted all over the place during the season. Could this have something to do with the fact that the series has already been renewed for season 7?
