The New York Fire Department delivered information to the FBI about several members who were allegedly on the United States Capitol when the rebels attacked the building.
An FDNY spokesman confirmed that several of its members were identified as being in Wednesday’s riot that resulted in the deaths of four people and an officer of the United States Capitol Police.
“The Department received anonymous allegations that active or retired members were present at United States Capitol events on January 6 and, as needed, provided this information to the FBI,” said Frank Dwyer, an FDNY spokesman.
