FBI seeks men who brutally beat DC officer on Capitol Hill – NBC4 Washington

The FBI is seeking help to identify seven men suspected of the attack on policeman Mike Fanone.

Fanone was brutally beaten outside the United States Capitol on January 6. He told News4 that he is recovering from a mild heart attack after being hit by a Taser several times and beaten with a “Thin Blue Line” flag.

“Kill him with your own weapon,” said Fanone, shouted members of the crowd.

The Washington FBI office said on Sunday that it is looking for seven men responsible for the attack. The photos show the men in crowds.

Anyone who can identify the suspects should call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI. Information can also be submitted at fbi.gov/USCapitol.

The police received a barrage of tips to identify protesters on Capitol Hill, including neighbors, friends and family members of the protesters.
