FBI arrests Pa. Woman who broke into Capitol and said she wanted to shoot Pelosi ‘in the goddamn’ brain ‘

Two Pennsylvania women were arrested on Friday for allegedly breaking into the US Capitol building during the January 6 rape and expressing their intention to kill Mayor Nancy Pelosi.

Dawn Bancroft and Diana Santos-Smith are facing three charges of intentionally entering or staying in a restricted building without legal authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

In a testimony on Friday, a special FBI agent described how cell phone images, apparently filmed by Bancroft, show the pair leaving the Capitol.

“We invaded Capitol … we entered, we did our part,” says Bancroft, who wore a MAGA ski cap, in the video. “We were looking for Nancy to shoot her in the brain, but we haven’t found her.”

But when prosecutors interviewed Santos-Smith, who is also portrayed in the statement wearing a red MAGA cap on January 20, she denied entering the building.

They later showed her a video of the two on Capitol Hill, at which point she allegedly admitted that she “lied” and said that they did not “have a pre-planned agenda”.

Santos-Smith also said that when she and Bancroft approached the Capitol, they heard other pro-Trump supporters shouting, “They are letting us in,” which she said she interpreted as “permission”. Although she and Bancroft tried to enter several locations, they climbed through a broken window.

Santos-Smith told prosecutors that he “knew they shouldn’t enter the building” and claimed that none of the women entered any office or chamber. She said the two left “approximately 30 seconds to a minute” after entering the building through the same window they entered.
