A Kentucky nurse who said she was fired after participating in the January 6 riot at the United States Capitol was arrested by the FBI along with her husband, the agency announced on Tuesday. Lori and Thomas Vinson, from Owensboro, are facing charges that include impeding government conduct and intentionally entering a restricted area. In January, Lori Vinson told several local news outlets that she had actually participated in the insurrection, which she said had cost her job at the Evansville, Indiana hospital, where she worked. “The FBI showed up here and after talking to me said that you wouldn’t hear from me anymore,” Lori Vinson told ABC’s local affiliate WEHT in January. “I’m not upset that I stood up for what I thought was right.”
