Dr. Anthony Fauci supported a new study that recommends reducing the guidelines for physical distance related to the coronavirus for face-to-face learning from a meter and eighty to a meter in the classroom.
Medical advisor Biden was asked about a new Massachusetts study that found “no significant difference in the spread of coronavirus” between 6 feet of physical distance versus 3 feet reduced in a Sunday appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union”.
CDC CAN FACILITATE 3 FEET SCHOOL DISTANCE GUIDELINES
“Does this study suggest to you that three feet is good enough?” CNN host Jake Tapper asked.
“Yes, indeed,” said Fauci, explaining that “CDC is very well aware that data is accumulating making it appear that 3 feet are doing well under certain circumstances.”
The 6-foot pattern has become one of the biggest obstacles that schools face when seeking to reopen according to the health and safety guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Fox News confirmed last week that the CDC “would soon” decrease its physical distance guidelines for in-person learning, after allegedly misinterpreting data on safe distance in the classroom.
Former CIA analyst and podcast host Buck Sexton destroyed Fauci and the agency on Twitter later on Sunday for stepping back after a year demanding “6 feet of social distance”.
“Oh, did you think that” 6 feet of social distance “was something super-scientific extravagant that they created after years of tests and experiments in the real world? Think again,” he wrote.

Fauci said he expected a change in the agency’s orientation “soon”, but will not provide further information on reopening schools until the agency announces the reduction of the 1 meter social distance requirement.
