Fauci attracts reactions by admitting that the CDC must make a ‘judgment’ on whether vaccinated people can travel

The White House chief medical advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, reacted on Wednesday by admitting that the Biden government needs to make a “judgment” when it comes to COVID travel guidance.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced new health guidelines for people vaccinated on Monday, but did not mention travel.

The guidelines, which were supposed to be released last week, originally included travel recommendations, but senior health officials have decided to remove that section, according to the Politico.

During a CNN appearance, Fauci was pressured about what “science” is preventing the Biden administration from declaring that Americans with both doses of the COVID vaccine can travel safely.

“From the Biden government, they say they will make their decisions based on science,” asked CNN anchor John Berman. “What is the science behind not saying that it is safe for people who have been vaccinated, received two doses, to travel?”

“You know, that’s a very good question, John,” replied Fauci. “And the CDC is going carefully in that direction … They are being careful, understandably. They want to get science, they want to get data, and then when you don’t have the data and you don’t have the real evidence, you have to do a judgment. And I think that’s what you’ll see in the next few weeks. “

Later, Fauci insisted that guidance on travel and other activities “will come out soon.”

“Fire Fauci,” exclaimed Ben Shapiro on Twitter “All he did for weeks was to undermine the structure of vaccination incentives – the measure that indicates the end of the pandemic.”

“Fauci’s house of cards is breaking down,” tweeted deputy Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.

“That kind of attitude really undermines the fight against vaccine hesitation …”, reacted Curtis Houck, editor-in-chief of NewsBusters.

“The Infallible Fauci is a fraud and should be ignored at this point. Live your lives instead of praying at the altar of government puppets who are drunk with a power they never intend to deliver,” said Rubin Report host Dave Rubin wrote.

“The guy is a fraud. Maybe it wasn’t when he started, but now he is,” expressed National Review senior editor David Harsanyi in the same way.
