Hironobu Sakaguchiin Mistwalker studio started broadcasting a story trailer and a resource trailer for his Fantasian I play on Tuesday. The game is listed as “coming soon” on the Apple Arcade.
Mistwalker describes the story:
The story begins in a kingdom ruled by machines. Within this multidimensional universe, the balance of “Chaos and Order” becomes a key factor in the struggle for these kingdoms and in the machinations of the gods who wish to control them. Players will take on the role of the protagonist, Leo, who wakes up from a massive explosion only to find himself lost in a strange land with only one memory left for him. As players set out on a journey to retrieve Leo’s memories, they will unravel the mysteries of the bizarre mechanical infection that slowly engulfs everything humanity knows.
Nobuo Uematsu (Final fantasy video game franchise, Time trigger) is composing the game’s soundtrack.
Mistwalker and Final fantasy creator Sakaguchi previously worked on Terra Battle series of games. The original Terra Battle Smartphone RPG released in October 2014. The game has been downloaded more than 2.7 million times. Terra Battle 2 released in Japan and North America in September 2017 for iOS and Android, and also released for PC on DMM Game site only in Japan. The game ended service in September 2018.
