Wonder Woman may have her heart decided Steve Trevor, but the actress who plays the DC Comics character, Gal Gadot, only has eyes for her husband, a 45-year-old real estate developer Yaron Varsano.
Fans may not have noticed while watching Wonder Woman 1984, but Yaron and the couple’s two daughters – Soul, 9 and Mayan, 2 – really make special appearances in the new film. Without revealing much, the viewer will notice the special appearances in the film’s Christmas scene, TV journalist Kevin McCarthy. When talking to Kevin, Gal made it clear that the inclusion of his family in the film was very important to her.
“[The Wonder Woman sequel film] it was more than just a movie, for us, for me, for [director Patty Jenkins]”, she said.” It completely changed my life. “
What also completely changed his life was meeting Yaron for the first time in 2006. According to what Gal said Glam in 2016, the two paths crossed at a “very strange party” in the Israeli desert. “It was all about yoga, chakras and healthy eating – not exactly there, but we met.”
Although they both felt a connection from the start, Gal, who was just 21 at the time, admitted that she was “too young” to see that Yaron was the guy. In contrast, Yaron apparently knew immediately.
“He is 10 years older than me. He told me on our second date that he was serious and would not wait more than two years to propose,” Gal revealed to the outlet. “Move forward two years, he proposed. We were married in 2008.”
Soon after, Gal appeared in Fast and Furious 4, which was the beginning of many round trips between Israel and the United States. According to Gal, it was difficult for the pair to move constantly – but on the bright side, all trips inspired Yaron.
“We wanted to feel at home, which was when we discovered these apartments in a hotel in Los Angeles. They became the inspiration for Yaron’s hotel, Varsano,” she explained to TotallyJewish.com in 2011. “I think Yaron and I to form a really good team. I understand his career and he understands mine. We help each other progress in all areas of life. We are both very career-oriented. “
In 2011, Gal and Yaron welcomed their firstborn son, Alma. Six years later, they had their second daughter, Maya. Since he had children, Gal told Glam that Yaron has been extremely supportive in figuring out how to raise his two daughters while maintaining a successful career.
“It was my husband who said to me, ‘Gal, think about what kind of role model you want to be. If you want to show Alma that she can follow your dreams, this is what you we must do it, and we will discover the logistics’ ”, she reminded the magazine.
Although it has been a few years since Gal and Yaron walked the red carpet together, the two are adorably open about their love for each other on social media. To celebrate her 12th wedding anniversary, Gal posted on Instagram above her and Yaron looking as happy as ever.
“You are my only one. My only one. My everything,” she captioned the photo. “12 years of marriage looks like a walk in the park with you. For many more to come. I am yours forever.”
