FAA notified after a large blue UFO seen above Oahu appears to fall into the ocean

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) – An unidentified flying object spotted in the night sky over Leeward Oahu caused witnesses to call 911 on Tuesday.

The sighting happened around 8:30 pm

There are several videos of what appears to be an oblong, shiny mass – both in the sky and in the water.

Federal Aviation Administration officials say there were no aircraft incidents or accidents in this area at the time. But several witnesses reported seeing a large blue object fall from the sky and into the ocean.

In a video, a woman can be heard saying, “Something is in heaven. What is it?”

Misitina Sape told Hawaii News Now, she captured the image at 8:26 pm, near Haleakala Avenue in Nanakuli.

Not long after, a woman named Moriah spotted what appeared to be the same object passing over Princess Kahanu Estates.

“I looked up and then I was like oh shit!”, She said. “I started calling my husband and them because they were all in the garage. I was like hey. Come look up there. See if you see what I see. Everyone said yes! “

The 38-year-old woman says she never really believed in UFOs, but the bright blue object left them so intrigued that they jumped in the car and started following him.

“I don’t know what it was,” she said. “This was going so fast.”

The trip ended less than three miles from where it started. She says they stopped the car on the Farrington Highway, in front of the Board of Water Supply building after the object appeared to fall into the ocean.

In one of Moriah’s videos, you can hear her say, “(He) fell into the water. Whatever.”

She described it as being bigger than a telephone pole and says she never heard him make a sound.

“We called 911,” said Moriah, “to have a policeman or someone to check it out.”

While the policemen were on the scene, Moriah said they saw a second light.

“My husband went to look up and saw the white man coming,” she said. “The white was smaller. It was coming in the same direction as the blue. “

They lost sight of the object after it passed a nearby mountain.

Thursday morning, we asked the Honolulu police whether investigators found out what fell into the water. A spokesman said he had no information.

Meanwhile, FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said the agency received a police report on Tuesday night about a possible plane crashed in the area “but no aircraft have disappeared from the radar. And no reports of overdue or lost aircraft. “

Although Moriah has had a few days to think about it, she says she is still baffled by what she saw.

“To this day, I don’t know,” she said laughing. “If you can find out what it was, I would like to know, you know?”
