How the Raid Collection Challenge works on Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go Collection Challenges were launched in January 2021 and run alongside certain game events. In each Collection Challenge, you will catch several Pokémon that, thanks to the event, are appearing more frequently in the jungle or are obtained by completing a certain feature of the game – in this case, raids.

After completing the Collection Challenge by capturing or obtaining each Pokémon, you will be rewarded with a series of items and progress towards your Elite Collector medal.

The Raid Collection Challenge is part of the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto event and is only available until Sunday, February 28 at 7:59 pm (local time).

The Challenges of the collection can be found in the ‘Today View’, which can be accessed by pressing the field search button (the small binoculars) in the lower right corner of the screen. Depending on whether you are looking at your current field or special research tasks, you may have to scroll to the left.

After accessing the ‘Today View’, you will find a list of the Pokémon you need to capture to complete the Collection Challenge. Catching a Pokémon on the Collection Challenge cock will mark it off the list to help you track which Pokémon you still need to obtain.
