How the Pallet Town Collection Challenge works on Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go Collection Challenges were launched in January 2021 and run alongside some in-game events. In each Collection Challenge, you will catch several Pokémon that, thanks to the event, are appearing more frequently in the jungle.

After completing the Collection Challenge by capturing all of these Pokémon, you will be rewarded with a series of items and progress towards your Elite Collector medal.

The Pallet Town Collection Challenge is part of the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto event and is available for a week after the event to ensure you have enough time to complete it. That means it will be available from Saturday, February 20, at 9am (local time), to Sunday, February 28, at 7:59 pm (local time).

The Challenges in the collection can be found in the ‘View Today’, which can be accessed by pressing the field search button (the small binoculars) in the lower right corner of the screen. Depending on whether you are looking at your current field or special research tasks, you may have to scroll to the left.

After accessing the ‘Today View’, you will find a list of the Pokémon you need to capture to complete the Collection Challenge. Capturing a Pokémon on the Collection Challenge cock will mark it on the list to keep track of which you have captured and which you have not.
